The Mountain Of God Zeus

Why did locals name a 1004m height mountain after the King of Gods? What are the stories written into the landscape, the remnants of former times? Witness the rock carved with the ancient inscription «ΟΡΟΣ ΔΙΟΣ ΜΗΛΩΣΙΟΥ» among the rocky landscape. After you catch your breath on your way uphill, you will breathe widely enjoying the view of Aegean Sea.
A climb to the summit of Mt. Zas, the highest peak of Cycladic islands. Walking up the old footpath which connects Agia Marina (St. Marina) with the summit of the mountain, we encounter interesting and rare species of fauna and flora. During the trek, we can also admire unique views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands.
